CMEAS has booking opportunities at many British clubs and Arts Council funded venues.
Pubs are the backbone of live music in Britain. Almost every British band of note started in the national pub circuit. CMEAS books and promotes gigs at some of the friendliest, busiest, best ale & food serving jewels of musical iniquity the Isles can offer MORE INFORMATION ON UK OCT. TOUR 2006
Started in 2004, CMEAS is partnering with several local school districts to provide interactive musical workshops with local schools. This program is set to be a significant part of our UK events.
In addition to pub, club, and workshop events, CMEAS has teamed up with a private record label based in Devon that does superb 24 track live recording at the Palladium Club. CMEAS offers a full show recording as part of the UK events.
If you are a band at home with a solid gig base and want to play abroad, there will probably be a bands abroad that want to play your gigs too. CMEAS can facilitate such international (or national) gig swaps.
Starting in 2005, CMEAS will be creating a video record of the tour so that bands have both a sound and visual record of their trip, and hopefully a work of art that they can use on return to their native countries.
Plans in the works include a recording and site seeing tour in Costa Rica, blues and roots festivals in Romania, a weekend trip to Rio de Janeiro, the International Film Festival in Prague, a tour of Dutch cities, a tour of French vineyard parties, and an island hopping tour of the US and UK Virgin Islands.

UK Oct. 2006 Tour - CME Artist Services are delighted to announce Big Baby Ernie (New Jersey), Kalvin Koolidge (Boston) and Laura Younger (Colchester, England) were selected for our flagship tour. See REVIEWS for artist's feedback.

Big Baby Ernie: This Jersey Shore group are specialists in groove. Evocative deep soul with ardent fans who sing their songs as if they were Top 40 hits. " DeLuise's voice is unequivocally one of the best in the scene today. Melding Stevie Wonder with hints of Nat King Cole (during jazz sets) his range is phenomenal, his melodies killer and all mind blowingly powerful yet soulful at the same time. As for the band, these guys are tight as hell and talented to boot."

Kalvin Koolidge: This Boston based group are a refreshingly intelligent, sharp and tight punk and rock band "comprised of three distinct personalities.  Tom Koolidge, the bands namesake is wild and unpredictable; he embodies the punk rock style that he grew up worshipping.  Clancy is poised and focused. He brings depth and dimension to the band with his knowledge of jazz and classical theory.  Ace lies somewhere between.  He can explode or push the boundaries with a unique beat. r

Laura Younger: This charming young prodigy from Colchester England demonstrates "an eclectic musical taste reflected in her songs that are fresh honest melodic & lyrically intense. She admirably expresses herself in music in a way that is clever yet comprehendible; memorable but not cliché."Personally, we were delighted to hear songs that stood out on their own, had words that where not recycled but were straight honest and inventive. To have the kind of talent that can compete with the many applications we received for this event is remarkable enough, to achieve this through talent alone at such an age is nothing short of miraculous.

"Her spunky attitude, clever lyrics and calm confidence had her father choked up with pride and had all of us wondering why we sucked so much at 17" (DJ from Brother Big Bad).

Acts selected for this tour will: - Play in England, Scotland and Wales including shows in some of the UK's top music towns, venues, (and esoteric pubs including one voted Britain's top music pub 2004 and 2005 and an afterhours in the smallest pub in Wiltshire) filled with eager crowds of punters. Take place in High School workshops with the opportunity to explore this great way of subsequently working in the UK as a musician yourselves. The tour is supported with gig guarantees, accommodation, evening meals, domestic transport, promotion and work permits.

NOTE: Artists who applied and scored highly with our peer review, even if not accepted can still: - Receive a free application offer to another one of our events should they be in the top 10 finalist list (we started doing this in 2006) - you may find us booking you in the UK anyway, especially if we arrange a partnership with you (e.g. Bob Cheevers from Nashville, Wabash Cannonballs from Chicago, Cafebar 401 from Holland, Ghandi from Costa Rica).
