How to Apply to CME Artist Services
Being on the CME Artist Services roster has the following benefits: Access to 100's of international acts of many genres for gig and tour collaboration, free entry to most of our events and discounts to others, booking offers not made on this website and exclusive only to our artist roster, 50% discount on work permit services, promotion of your act on our artist's page (feature brought in March 2010) and priority notice for any cancellations we may have on any of our events.
To get on our roster acts need to be reviewed and receive a high score on our peer review. There are three ways to do this: Apply directly for membership on the artist roster, apply for one of our opportunities, or offer us a well thought out partnership proposal.
1. To apply directly for annual membership:
Note: Acts that apply for membership (£15 GBP per annum) are not guaranteed to be on our roster as we are an exclusive agency. In other words you are paying for our peer review with the chance of becoming part of our artist roster. The venues and festivals we book and our events partners require high standards and need to know that we will only provide acts that meet those standards. Both our partners and ourselves depend on this.
2. To apply for one of our events go to opportunities.
We have a number of events (increasing each year) and if you are selected for one of them you will automatically be on our roster. Even if you are not selected for a particular event should you receive a high peer review score you will be included on our roster regardless.
3. To offer us a well thought out partnership proposal go to partnership proposal.
We're always looking for acts that don't soley think of themselves but also empathis they are not alone and are willing to pool their resouces with other acts (that's how we started with our own group and continue to develop international partnerships for our band - at time of writing our group is touring Sweden, Ukraine and Spain). Even if the partnership does not happen if you receive a high peer review score you will be included on our roster.
